Irene Hong, LAc. LMT. is certified by National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as a Diplomate of Acupuncture, and is a licensed acupuncturist (LAc) of New York and New Jersey. She is also Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB), and is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) of New Jersey. She completed the New Jersey Professional Massage Therapy Program from Cortiva-Hoboken in 2012 with Academic Excellence. In 2014, she completed her three-year Acupuncture program and earned her Master of Science degree in Acupuncture from Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York City.
Irene was born and grew up in China, where Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has been used for thousands of years. During her study in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, she found that TCM techniques such as Acupuncture Moxibustion, Acupressure, Tui-Na, Cupping, and Gua-Sha are greatly beneficial for addressing body mind disharmonies, and are also excellent methods for maintaining health and vitality. She is continuously learning more about these unique techniques to improve her skill set and offer her clients a complete body-mind healing experience.
